In the mystical realm of the past 11 years, I have embarked on a journey of self-discovery and unwavering strength. Battling PV disease, a rare blood cancer. I have delved into nutrition, emotional intelligence, trauma healing, energy work, and NLP. I now am a Shaman using my journey to help others find their limiting beliefs and clear negative blocks through creativity. I create and teach with the intent to empower and guide. My Journey
Hola!!! Magical souls, I'm Nancy, also known as Spicybrain. I'm a freelance designer and shamanic artist with extensive experience working for renowned studios such as Disney, Warner Bros., and Nick Jr. Graduating from Pasadena's ArtCenter College of Design in 1994, I have over 33 years of experience in fashion, surface textiles, animation, product design and stationery.
My work has been featured in establishments like Macy's, Nordstrom, Michaels, and Harrods in England. I've had the privilege of designing for celebrities like Jennifer Garner.
As a specialist in guiding clients toward their marketing, creative, and mental wellness goals, I bring years of expertise to every project. Along the way, I’ve built a circle of extraordinary talents that I’m delighted to share with you. Together, we’ll bring vivid, symbolic design and grounded emotional support to your work, infusing it with something memorable and true. Nancy Schier
Nancy Schier has spent more than twenty-five years as a working artist, with studio credits that include Walt Disney Animation Studios, Warner Bros., Disney Consumer Products, and Disney Interactive. Her illustration, art direction, and design work continues under SpicyBrain Designs.
Alongside that, Nancy is a shamanic practitioner, Reiki-certified energy worker, and Cacao Ceremony facilitator. The Mindful Brush is where these two sides of her life meet, a space for sacred painting, expressive arts, and energy work, held within the same creative home as her fine art and illustration practice.
